About- Draconic Spirit was born in 1979 in Madrid, Spain, to a military family. She has spent much of her life living in different places in the United States including: Lubbock, Texas; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Phoenix, Arizona; and now Kansas City, Missouri.
She has a bachelor's in English with a literature concentration and has taken several courses in creative writing. Draconic Spirit has been a copy editor for a food magazine and a managing editor for a Christian business magazine. She saw success tutoring a Rogue Spirit in English, where she turned a failing grade to passing with flying colors.
Draconic Spirit spends most of her time reading current events and fiction. Her favorite fantasy and science fiction authors include: J.R.R. Tolkien, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffrey, Allen Dean Foster and Christopher Stasheff. She also enjoys reading authors like Mark Twain, Emily Bronte, and William Shakespeare. Draconic Spirit's passion in writing is about speculative fiction primarily the fantasy side.
